VenueQuest is an innovative and highly reputable meeting planning and hotel site selection company. Our reputation for fast, efficient and professional service has gained us the trust of our clients and the hotels we do business with. We are currently seeking associates in several key geographic markets to help us continue the exciting and fast paced growth we have already experienced for the past 4 years. 

This position will allow you to continue working within the hotel and meeting planning industry, but in a role that allows you to pursue a better work/life balance than you may currently be experiencing.  In this position you will primarily be locating clients for our hotel/venue site selection product and then servicing the needs of those clients.  You will draw upon your experiences in the hotel industry to counsel and navigate your clients through the hotel search process, site inspections, contracting process and the execution of their meeting. 

VenueQuest is compensated for this service by collecting commissions from hotels, which are then shared with the associate who facilitated the booking.  Because our service is provided at no charge to clients, it is also an easy service to sell for someone with knowledge of the group travel/meetings industry.  Our commission sharing pay structure is the most generous that we know of in our industry, and is not restricted by annual caps or limitations.  Please note that this is a COMMISSION-ONLY position, so your ability to build and maintain a client base is important to your success. We also have a bonus plan and benefits in place for our team members not offered by our competitors. Therefore, the harder you work, or the more clients you serve, the more you earn. 

Our Global Travel & Meetings Position is a home-office based career in order to allow you the greatest leverage in achieving your personal work/life balance.  You will set your own hours and work at your own pace, but you must commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week. We are looking for individuals who are interested in an entrepreneurial environment with unlimited income potential.

Job Requirements:
2 years (preferably more) of experience in hotel sales, national hotel sales or convention/visitor bureau sales
~or~
2 years as a corporate or association meeting planner with experience in booking group accommodations and meeting space for 1 or more events per year

PLEASE NOTE: This is a COMMISSION-ONLY position, so your ability to build and maintain a client base, as well as prior knowledge of the group travel/meetings industry, is essential to your success in this position.
